Mike Tibbatts
MRICS has a complete experience of the landed profession.
He was an
‘articled pupil’ and later a junior Assistant Surveyor working for Sussex
Estate Agents – John Churchman and Sons.
He
specialised at that time in residential surveys and valuations.
Mike also worked
as an Assistant Surveyor for Ventris and Waple (Surveyors and Valuers) in
West Molesley, Surrey.
Mike
qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1971.
Six years
working for the Freshwater Group of Companies managing their Commercial
Portfolio of Properties from 1971 – 1977 followed during which time he
gained experience specifically in the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (Part
2) as amended.
A period of
being a sole practitioner doing residential surveys, commercial rent
review negotiations and valuations in the late 1970’s followed prior to
moving to Hong Kong in 1980.
