GB World - Manga

The Manga spans a total of 39 volumes and you'll find some of the summaries here. Although the Anime was based on this, you'll find that it only covers the first few volumes with some differences in events. The Anime seems to cover about up to volume 14 of the Manga. Since the story changes towards the end of the Anime, I don't think there will be a second Anime series.

Although Tokyo Pop has now licensed an English version of GetBackers, you may still purchase the original Japanese version from online retailers too such as Animaxis or Amazon.co.jp. As far as I know however, the illustration book and the two guide books has not been done in English yet. For the Chinese readers out there, I'm sure you already know or will be glad to know that the Chinese versions are already available almost anywhere. Up-to-date with the latest volume too. The guide book and illustration book however, has not been translated.

Limited editions of volume 36~39 were also available, each featuring a different front cover and came packed with 5 postcards with original unreleased illustrations.
